not Q related (sorry lol) but thanks to my life situation (which is admittedly a result of poor decisions on my part) I'm pretty much locked up inside the house. I can't even get my driver's license until at least sometime in june, and until then I have nothing to do, nowhere to go, and I'm bored out of my mind. I'll admit I don't really agree entirely with christian beliefs, but I still want to understand it better and maybe volunteer if possible, but I haven't even set foot in a church in like 15 years now and I have no idea what to expect or even what to do, or even if I should, so if anyone could give me advice or something I'd be most grateful :P

Christian fellowship is one of the most important aspects of being a Christian. Not all churches are equal too, so just keep that in mind... Some don't preach what the bible is actually telling us. So pray for discernment when seeking out a church. I would start by getting a King James version bible and start reading it, going through it, and listening to what God is telling you, praying for understanding along the way. I come from a Lutheran church myself, but there's other churches that preach the truth as well. The main point is that if you believe Christ is your savior and He died on the cross for our sins, rose again from the dead on the third day, and descended to heaven to sit at the right hand of God till judgement day arrives, then you will be saved. Baptism is also important. It's your spiritual rebirth into the Kingdom of God through water. Another note is the importance of partaking of the body and blood of Christ in remembrance of what He did, and as a time to repent and thank Him for his noble sacrifice. It's a lot to take in I know lol. I was raised in a Christian family so it's like second nature to me. Anyway, I'm glad I can formally welcome you into the family! We're happy to have you my beloved fren 😁
I second this and suggest that you start right here
