not Q related (sorry lol) but thanks to my life situation (which is admittedly a result of poor decisions on my part) I'm pretty much locked up inside the house. I can't even get my driver's license until at least sometime in june, and until then I have nothing to do, nowhere to go, and I'm bored out of my mind. I'll admit I don't really agree entirely with christian beliefs, but I still want to understand it better and maybe volunteer if possible, but I haven't even set foot in a church in like 15 years now and I have no idea what to expect or even what to do, or even if I should, so if anyone could give me advice or something I'd be most grateful :P

You might want to try a nice local Calvary chapel. They teach the Bible chapter by chapter, and verse by verse. That way things that are uncomfortable get tight no matter what. Also they don’t always have a bunch of big bands either. Best of wishes to you
We usually looked for a Calvary Chapel when traveling and we attended many all over the countrry. Skip Heitzig was a treat because we listened to him on radio.
Yeah they’re generally pretty decent churches. Some of them and got pretty big, and I tend to stay away from those. But I was raised up in my Christianity on it, and I’ve gained so much knowledge by the teaching they do chapter by chapter verse by verse.
I've been going a Calvary Chapel church for almost 20 years now. Our paster is rock solid teaching verse by verse. I've grown quite a lot there.
