There is a video floating around on Telegram about this very lie. I will tan but I burn bad first. I think you can use coconut lotion or something. I will try to find that video. The lady speaking says something about what you can use. All the sunscreens probably cause cancer. I know Nutragena aerosol sunscreen was recalled last year for cancer causing.

coconut oil is a natural sunscreen
I am gonna get some and try using that this summer.
