Ok I live in Oklahoma, usually in our blazing heat ☀️🔥 I will apply a small amount if I remember or if Im going to be out in the sun for extended periods. I never ever wore it really growing up. I love being in the sun and barefoot in my yard. I think when you get out expose your skin slowly to develop a tan and you will be fine. Never go out in blazing heat without some type of protection be it hats, shirts, or some sunscreen. Remember our ancestors never had sunscreen.
As a very fair skinned person, I can testify that slow exposure doesn’t work, tried it all, I just burn after about 20 min. I love the sun, just take it in shorter doses, wear hats, planted trees for shade.
