They said it wasn’t accurate and discontinued use of pcr in December. Might as well use up the stock in the warehouse right?
It was inaccurate because of misuse. Improper methods produce incorrect results.
The doctor who invented it said specifically it was not to be used for diagnosis. Numerous time he stated this.
Yet it became the faux gold standard for too long.
Yes, but it is an incredibly useful tool for diagnosis of GENETIC conditions, not viruses as Mullis said.
