You probably know or know of many people with tanks.
Lies? No. Do you take pictures of your AR setup and post on FB or twitturd or other places where you get harassed and stir up trouble for yourself? Not usually. Why would you post your tank?
The retort, albeit not as snappy, is to explain that, yes, the government has the power to completely level the entire country. But this isn't what they're after.
They can't just bomb the shit out of us to get what they want. Their supporters are intermixed with us. They have no power if they kill everyone. They will always need "boots on the ground" to enforce their tyranny. And against these boots on the ground, armed citizens are extremely effective.
So how do we go about either joining a militia or starting one. I'm guessing joining one right now might be difficult as I would expect them to be on high alert for infiltration so then how do we start one?
AfAIK, the Oathkeepers were a private militia.
A proper, above board militia will form under, and report to, a gov't agency, almost always the state governor.
I had a post about two years ago about this, do t remember if it was here or on TDW. After work I'll try and find it.
Also, each state has their own rules, suggest you look them up, start there.
Big issue on being a legal militia or not is if you want to become an outlaw band while trying to save the country, or have some legitimacy to it. If you don't have a proper CoC for accountability, there will probably be trouble from the good guys AND the bad guys.
I showed my dad's cop friend my AR back in 1999 when he came over for some archery shooting and a BBQ. Keep in mind this is a guy who has known my dad since high school. Someone who likes guns and hunting and etc and who dad even wrote a paper for during college to try and keep him enrolled bc he was failing at the height of Vietnam.
Immediately his whole demeanor changed and the cop face came on:
"How did you get this? Are you sure it's legal? My department hasn't even been trained on these yet."
Scary shit for a 19 year old kid who had gone to the gun store, paid the money and brought it home. Drove home the idea that you NEVER. TRUST. A COP.
I saw this on a video last year on some site where a Patriot said that once the 'alarm' is sounded, everyone with guns should meet at their local library to discuss plans and other forms of security. If you don't have a library in your town, then meet at your nearest school. If you can't seem to get anywhere, call your neighbors together that you know and trust to cover your back.
Good for you. I too believe it would be much better with neighbors you trust. But I think the person who said to meet at the Library still has a good idea. I hope the police/sheriff forces will be there to instruct them and make them all deputies or something of the sort. That way it won't be a vigilante squad.
Disagree with the premise. . .the citizenry is responsible for making the militia "well regulated". Militia's, even in Colonial times were formed or supported by the state or local government. IMO, the 2nd Amendment is a God given right to defend against all enemies, both foreign and domestic.
Yea.. i guess the fact that they are a cult makes it questionable. But there are lots of cults (e.g. scientology). This one just got targeted because it amassed a large weapons collection.
I lived in a small town with a population of 3,500 people and over 5,000 guns. When the discussion came about gun confiscation, one fellow mentioned it wasn't going to happen in this town, since all the gun owners were also hunters, meaning they were excellent snipers!
They would infiltrate the organized militias with either glowies or woke retards. I agree having an organized militia would be great, I think our government is really good at covertly taking control of such things.
I'm not disagreeing with your point, so please don't take it that way.
"Well-regulated" at the time didn't have quite the same connotations as we assign it today. In short, well-regulated meant that it was ready and capable to do it's duty. Specifically, that it would be appropriately armed to stand against a threat. This understanding is precisely why it is understood that arms capable of reasonable management by an individual are protected, but those that aren't (mortars, nukes, tanks, etc) are not.
Anti-gun lobbyists try to twist the meaning into "well-controlled" by assigning today's typical use to an older document that didn't use the language quite the same, which completely misses the point.
“Look at what they got away with during Covid.”???
They got away with crap because the American population were frightened zombie sheep and were happy to stay home, mask up, take the jab, and listen to the fear mongering of the media talking heads.
Nothing to do with guns or militia. Even many gun owning freedom loving people bought into the lies. Still do, unfortunately, since the TV news watchers are still living in a fantasy world and don’t know what’s really going on.
I completely agree with you about guns and militia and the necessity of making sure we can own guns. In fact, if I remember correctly, gun sales have gone through the roof in the past several years. Somehow, on a deeper level, Americans know they’d better arm themselves. Most don’t have the wherewithal to join a militia, but I appreciate those who do.
I think right now more and more people are waking up… it’s just taking time.
This time of information wars has served as a warning to Americans, and I’m most impressed by all those, including you, who are stepping up and speaking out, speaking truth, bringing light.
Governments always want to disarm the population right before they do something they know they will be shot for.
To which I add "why are you so eager to just bend over and take it from big daddy government?"
That’s why the 2A says arms and not guns.
Technically, you can own a tank.
In fact, I know people with tanks.
You probably know or know of many people with tanks.

This. Should I happen to own one or more tanks, their whereabouts shall remain hidden
This is the way.
I know a guy who has several hundred tanks in California no less.
These days what the citizens need are armed drones. They are game changers.
Easily done.

Or they're already compromised like the Oathkeepers and Ray Epps.

Back when the constitution was written, the militia was any adult man with a gun who was able to fight, it wasn't a bunch of glowie sponsored clubs.
Ok, let's organize it. It's for such a time as this?
You're a woman and I'm single lol can I join yours? Fed time is more bearable if I'll have a visitor jk
All the militias I'm aware of are either Fedboi plants, fat larpers or a combo of both. Joining one is the best way to get yourself locked up.
Who do you think the best soldiers will be, Xbox junkies or patriotic veterans?
You exclude them you reduce mission success by orders of magnitude, and increase casualties.

I don't back the blue unequivocally. Just sayin.
MEAL TEAM SIX

W/o leadership that will turn into a mob. If county sheriff is trustworthy, you could follow his lead.

The branch davidians in waco is a good example. The govt feared what they were doing and pushed for a shootout
They could have grabbed Koresh at any time, but they instead chose to destroy the entire building, killing everyone.
https://libertarianinstitute.org/articles/how-the-government-covered-up-the-waco-massacre/
It is an example. Not sure I'd call it good.
Yea.. i guess the fact that they are a cult makes it questionable. But there are lots of cults (e.g. scientology). This one just got targeted because it amassed a large weapons collection.
Iirc allegedly unregistered mgs. So all those ppl were killed for nonpayment of taxes

"Through counterintelligence it should be possible to pinpoint potential troublemakers and neutralize them. Actual COINTELPRO quote from FOIA
In the 60s they did it to blacks. Now it's our turn shawty.

Join your local militia (do some research on what they’re about first), and assume EVERYONE is a fed.

BOOM! 💥
GLOWSTICKS
Not true. Look at 1773-1776. "Outlaws and criminals" were the minority and still won.
Kept their guns despite federal gun grabs.
Every American has the right to hang a pair of bear arms on their wall, how could that possibly be misconstrued?
Time is almost up. Better sit on the couch even harder america!
