Well apparently he had all the time in the world barricaded with 2 dozen kids inside, doesn't take skilled marksmanship to kill people who are incapable of running away in a single classroom.

The real question is why did the police barricade him in with a whole class of students, then retreat and wait for a fucking hour for border patrol to arrive and a key from the principal to open the door.
