This is an understatement. Its is absolutely ridiculous. Few highlights
-swat cant open door bc they need to get a key, took awhile to find it
-but guy was 'barricaded' anyway so even with the polite key there would prob require a little force? Dear Lord why would they neeed a key? Ive heard swats booms in my own neighborhood breaching a barricaded door
-some varying stories about the armed sec/ response officer/ whatever who saw guy BEFORE he went in, like as he went in and didnt stop him. did he not see large rifles?
-restraining parents from going in?
-a border agent of all ppl gets job done? geez do they not have enough to do?
There are so many incredible absurdities.
ETA: oh and border agent was in the middle of a haircut when he heard what was happening, got the barbers shotgun, got there and handled it. forget police right by there, or school police, no the border agent on his day off mid haircut

Also, theres the mom who drove 40 MILES to the school after hearing about it, gets there and is handcuffed by police bc shes trying to get to her kids and tellling them wth are you all doing standing around??!! GET IN THERE. So they cuff her.
Then a friend marshall of hers talks police into letting her go, and once cuffs are off she runs, jumps fence and literally gets her kids out herself.
She said other parents were restrained, tackled and pepper sprayed.
THIS is insane. Meanwhile the police still getting their gameplan and looking for key. Im done. This is like brought to you by clown show productions
IIRC one of the courts ruled that saving people is not a job responsibility of the police. They dont owe us anything. We owe them salary, benefits and pension. Cool setup they got, if you ask me.

An hour? A full hour and this kid only killed 21 people? Nope. Don't buy the story at all.
