Im seriously considering this! My oldest is super smart but always bored so i like the friend/social aspect of school for her bc we have moved 3 states in 3 yrs. Now that we are where we will stay, dont know any family type friends w kids yet so i do worry about that for her but damn.... Its weighing on me putting them in these schools. There is 1 armed sheriff at the school which i like - super nice guy - even gets them out of the car in the morn - but still sooooooooo scary. I guess i also worry about my ability to teach in all subjects. My youngest has a speech delay and was out of school for a while bc we recently moved and he actually started saying like everything, or at least attempting by just being w us all the time instead of his pre-k "special class".
They tried to tell me hes autistic as well. Of course, i was awww an autist! -lol- but I mean hes 3 and understands everything we say. Just was late on actually saying it. He learned lots of sign language but i dont think he will even need that- just needs a decent speech therapist. He was labeled and got 1 on 1 attn from the therapist like once a week in pre-k. Which pissed me off. They are just so quick to label anything now and the kid suffers bc they just assume things. Im like nooooo....hes a 3 yr old rain man bitches! Before he could say any word, he could pick out any letter or number and figure out any video game. I just feel like its even a case of these "educators" are so overwhelmed and also have to be woke to fit in, that the kids dont get what they need.

For sure, Tendie. And you are so correct. You, and other frens here, have really made me feel OK about possibly taking them out.
She'll learn more at homeschool. It's amazing once you unleash children. There are local clubs, other homeschoolers that plan park days.. etc.
