Depending on the age you marry at sometimes it better to keep your surname as you would have to change every ID etc. over to the new name. Doctor marrying a non-doctor would keep their surname for their practice in most cases as well.
Not saying any of that disproves it but gotta think a little bit
In a based state like Texas? No way would any self-respecting man let his wife have another name. Either they’re not married or he’s a cuck.
Lots of dems still live their its not a 1 party state at the end of the day. Can’t say whether these 2 are repub or dem. though
