-Fort Laramie treaty of 1868, and what Sitting Bull thought of the government. he went to DC in 1888. (1888 is also an important year for antifreemasons, so a lot going on politically)
AND there are stories of Sitting Bull attending mass with Father DeSmet starting when he was 17:)
