I have used discernment. You're assuming I haven't looked into the things you're discussing already.
I've looked into the claims of "ancient astronaut theorists" such as Erich von Däniken, Zecharia Sitchin, and the Ancient Aliens folks such as Maximillen de Lafayette, Giorgio Tsoukalos, David Childress, William Henry, David Wilcock, etc.
I know the Vatican lies. I also know YouTube would ban Mauro Biglino if he even sniffed at the truth.
Yahweh is our Creator, whether you believe it or not.
What I've noticed is the Ancient Alien folks report on every ancient text as it's the absolute truth, with the exception of the Bible. Why do you suppose that is?
When one examines the myths found in the Sumerian texts and compares them with the Sefer Chanoch AKA the Book of Enoch, one is forced to come to various conclusions.
According to the Epic of Gilgamesh, one of the Sumerian texts, this was the reason for the Great Flood-
In those days the world teemed, the people multiplied, the world bellowed like a wild bull, and the great god was aroused by the clamour. Enlil heard the clamour and he said to the gods in council, “The uproar of mankind is intolerable and sleep is no longer possible by reason of the babel.” So the gods agreed to exterminate mankind.
In other words, mankind makes too much noise and the gods can't sleep in peace.
Now compare that with the Sefer Chanoch AKA the Book of Enoch.
1 Enoch 9:1-3
1 And then Mikha’el, Uri’el, Rafa’el, and Gavri’el looked down from
the sanctuary of heaven and saw much blood being shed upon the
earth, and all the earth was filled with lawlessness and violence
so that sin was being wrought upon it.
2 And hearing it the four went and said among themselves that the
voice and the cry, in the perishing of the sons of the earth, reaches to
the gates of heaven.
3 And now to you, the set-apart ones of heaven, the souls of men make
their suit and say "Bring our cause before the Most High."'
In the Book of Enoch, it reports it was the cries of mankind perishing to the giants which prompted the Great Flood.
