And left just before the shooter was killed

The plane might be assigned to the 116th Military Intelligence Brigade, specifically the 15th Military Intelligence Battalion (Nighthawks) based out of Fort Hood Texas. Facebook digging has images of like-type planes and similar series tail numbers. (xx-xx2##)
It's hard to say what it was doing, could be training and a massive coincidence.
If that airport, Garner Field (KUVA) rarely sees any (or none at all) military traffic then it could be eyebrow raising. Though, a lot of times the Military/Guard will have a favorite airport or series of airports to practice on. Perhaps more eyes on that area will show it might be a common spot or not.
To me, it looks like aerial training or maybe it just got out of maintenance and they needed to give it a shakedown. If active recon or recon training then it would fly obvious perfect circles over an area.
As someone who worked with this unit very recently, I am 99.99% sure that this flight was for training purposes only.
Training? I‘d buy the same kind of drill coincidence that took place on 911. I don‘t believe in these types of coincidences.
