Interesting. Research led me to post WWII "cloud seeding" efforts that was pretty hush hush. Didn't really ramp up until the last 20 years.

Thanks for the hot tip. Will definitely dive deeper...although since aircraft wasn't capable or even viable at that time to dispense chemicals, it has me scratching my head.
