I've buried a child. Not looking for comment on that, terrible shit happens in life. My point is that we were absolutely in a haze of grief during the period when we had to make decisions like cemetery, headstone, casket, readings and songs at the church service, going through the visitation... I can't imagine grieving parent thinking that some pop-themed casket was a good idea. Additionally there were people who had gone through similar losses helping us make rational decisions - the implication being that multiple people in addition to these parents somehow thought that advertising for a scumbag internet cancer like Tiktok was a good idea. The implications for our culture are disheartening.
