Because this isn't about the bad guys.
Its about waking up the good guys.
The bad guys fates are sealed by the lord above, no amount of human punishment will take the place of what they are about to see in divine judgement.

I have no problem fitting most ( if not all) of what you just said into my faith in God. My question is.....11.4? 11.8? 11.11? Where did the dates come from?
