Very old indeed... but I have read about a birch poplar clonal colony that's estimated to be 7000 years old by the root system and its place in the environment. Not to mention some land grasses can live to be well over 3000 years old, some fungi can live to be 5000 or even longer, and some animals don't even have a known maximum lifespan due to their extremely long lives (Ming, a 510 year old mollusc, and 400+ Greenland sharks).there is more than meets the eye, it seems.
