This just shows that there are more guns owned in the US than in other countries. Look at it as gun homicides per 100,000 residents and the US would be at the top of this chart. I own multiple guns and am concerned about the proposed restrictions we're hearing about, but definitely believe there's a gun violence problem in our country that we need to address.
It's a bit of a chicken and egg situ, people own guns because of gun violence.
remember, most crimes are committed with illegally obtained firearms. think Chicago.
South African gun owners are very tightly controlled while illegal guns are not, the cops sell them onto criminals. I think it's not on this list because while the homicides are high, gun owner registration is low.

People own guns, because you have violent people. We don't have a gun violence problem, we have a violence problem. The only way to fix that is to accept it at it's root instead of trying to put bandaids on it. What has contributed to violence, and mental issues in this country? The psychological warfare our own government has been playing on us.
