Two large Private Equity/ activist investor Groups that bought large stakes (and obtained board seats) several years ago...They had a clause in their buy-in that prevented them from typical "activist investor" actions for an initial period.. Elliott Management in particular tends to get involved in management decisions and controls the direction of the company..
