Rest In Peace, brave pilot. 🙏✝️
Jabinated? Couldn’t even reach for ejector?
Possibly, but typically a fighter pilot won't eject if his plane might crash into a populated area - most I know will go down with the jet to ensure no civilians are hurt.
Not saying this is the case here, but something to keep in mind.
Sad, sad news. Even if the vax wasn't involved, this isn't exactly an anomaly. Jets are the most dangerous platform in Naval Aviation.
ATC family member knows that quite well, he had to manually talk a blinded pilot into a landing for about 40mins (the jets environment malfunctioned) and the pilot's hand was frozen on the control stick, all instruments froze as well.. just the controllers voice and the guys smart watch(that he could see on his wrist showing direction nsew).. That pilot was a lucky one, most would of passed out but, he fought it all the way and made the landing and had to be pried out of the cockpit. Have heard many stories of similar things going wrong with jets over the years and when they do, they usually do not make a landing. Making a mistake or distraction while driving fast down the road can cause an accident in a split second.. now think on how fast those jets fly.. doesn't take much for one to lose control or malfunction and become disastrous.
RIP.
RIP Sir, rest easy, your watch is over.
Was he vaccinated for Covid? If so, maybe a heart attack, massive stroke or PE.
