I once burned my arm and it starting showing signs of infection. I cut up an Aloe vera plant and sliced it down the middle and laid them flat over burn and bandaged it and it took care of the infection and helped nicely. Just change the dressing often enough to keep fresh Aloe on th site. Also lavender oil (make sure it is real not synthetic) is wonderful for burns. Actually NOW oil is easy to find and a great company. The homeopathic Cantharis is for burns and is very effective (take internally sublingually) Vitamin Shoppe has this on hand. I have treated sunburns with straight vitamin E and this has tremendous healing power. I am not a doctor but have used all these healing methods throughout my very long life. You could rotate the treatments or layer lavender, E and top with Aloe Vera plant and take cantharis. It all works. Spraying colloidal silver can also help to keep infection at bay.
