if you were an employee and a man proposed to his woman on stage, would you interrupt them? I'd just wait for them to finish and then ask them to get off, and then congratulate them...

It's totally justified to boot people off stage as quickly as possible or else others would learn to copy the bad behavior. This is a huge venue they have to keep people in line
