****Teach your children stranger safety.

I was shopping in Rose’s today. It’s a store with cheap clothes & sometimes you find quality clothes. Some home goods are cheaper. Toiletry items beverages & snack food. It’s making a comeback in the south. I shop because they are very nice & sometimes I find things we need cheaper than grocery or big stores like Walmart. I didn’t see this, heard it from several aisles over.

A man said to a little girl she was cute. The little girl said, in a panic voice “Daddy” I said to myself, smart girl! Honestly I feel like most of you here have schooled your kids in stranger danger to teacher danger! A reminder never hurts. I probably scared my child so bad! Mid 90s she was four. At the grocery store & CVS shopping center, we shopped at weekly was a mugging at a walk up ATM. I told her if anyone she doesn’t know gets in the car. You get out screaming and run in the nearest store. She cried & cried! I was a loving & tough mom when I had to be. Not saying her dad didn’t protect her! He worked & I didn’t. She’s 30 now, safe & still loves me. I have zero regrets.
