I keep hearing that Musk waived his right to perform due diligence, making him obligated to buy. But… I can’t find where that is actually true. If I google it, there are several articles claiming it on the google page, but none actual say it, but one links this.

It is there in the document. "Mr. Musk also disclosed that his acquisition proposal was no longer subject to the completion of financing and business due diligence."
