These people were all involved in a plot to overthrow the government, and a minor conviction isn't going to move anyone's needle relative to the crime.

If the DS was in control, they wouldn't need False Flags every time something important is happening, or to distract from what the patriots are doing. They would be all over the trials, more than happy to show the world how righteous they are, like they always have in the past. Pay attention to their words - not what they are saying, but the words they use to infuse negative or positive emotions into a story or situation.
