Honestly people that protest this are the ultimate case of irony. They don't want government to tell them what they can and cannot do, so what do they do? Protest government and demand that government give them permission to do something! Holy moly! It truly doesn't get any more mixed up then this. They are completely incapable of understanding that decentralizing government actually helps them get what they want.
