People don't change their beliefs when they see or hear the truth in fantasy format. It does the opposite, it reinforces that it's just fantasy.
As example, here is one of the top comments:
When you turn reality into comedy, it solidifies the belief that anyone who espouses a "non-standard" view of the world (such as a ruling elite), or provides evidence of it, deserves ridicule.
"Look, they think what's obviously fantasy is reality. They are crazy!"
There have been numerous shows like this that show what's really going on. They reinforce the Matrix by encouraging the "it's just fantasy" belief that is already instilled in us by everything else.
