I do understand that totally, my mother is german. She goes back every couple of years to visit her siblings and the crimes there have escalated. The people there are not safe. My uncle has someone break into their house when they were upstairs asleep. Luckily no harm to them but they stole snd ransacked the downstairs. Traditional way of life is gone. Very sad
