Yeah they are horribly constructed with inferior materials. They start falling apart in about 3 years in a lot of places. But it’s interesting they’re demolishing them now. It’s not cheap to demolish even one building. I just think it’s curious.
When we went in 2017, we were told that they were built for the “farmers”. Most were clearly empty. They had become dangerous, with materials falling off the walls and ceilings. It was so bizarre—another example of the corruption of socialism / communism—bureaucrats making stupid choices trying to cover their butts with gaslighting, censorship and propaganda. They had to tell us a big fat lie and to not gawk at their obvious failures.
