Memorization is considerably underrated these days, and especially scripture. Good for you. You will be blessed.
"So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it."
I understand completely. Principles of memory to consider: chunk the info into discrete units. I'd recommend two verses at a time with distributed practice. Memory palace technique or physical mapping would be helpful for this as well. In other words, assign verses to the part of the body the verses reference. Then you will remember based on your body, which you should always have 'with' you. Regardless, repetition/rote learning, is the most effective means of memorization.
I’ll watch that video later today. What I have been doing is writing the Scriptures on a Post-it note, and then taping them to my left arm. That way I can just raise my arm up and look at it during the day. Once I get one verse memorized, I move onto the next. I think it takes a day or two for each one, but sometimes longer. Then I begin stringing them all together. But I’ll definitely take your advice and look at that video. Specially with the armor of God, it would be a good idea to write the Scriptures out and tape them to the parts of my body that they apply to . Have a great day

"For the word of God is living and active.."
Thank you. I’m trying. This one is especially difficult because it’s 10 verses, but I will get it.
