Well you can cook down regular milk and then dry it in an oven to concentrate, so I assume equipment to freeze dry food is possible to use to freeze-dry breast milk. Once it is dried you can put it in a small food processor or a dedicated spice grinder and grind into a powder. However, if you cook it down, it does destroy the nutrients to some degree due to the heat. I am not a scientist, so I can’t provide any concrete measures on that. I am not able to address the nutritional value over prolonged time periods. I assume that just like freeze dried regular food, there would be a limited shelf life. That is a good thought, but I am not sure how you would reconstitute it either.
