Formula is comprised of chemicals

On a point of grammar (education so you understand your own native language to communicate more effectively) the verb "to comprise" means "to consist of". The "of" is inherent in its meaning. So the correct phrase would be:

Formula is composed of chemicals

or, alternatively:

Formula comprises chemicals

or, if you prefer:

Formula consists of chemicals
