Interesting what he said about the farmer's prices. Basically, he is saying that what we are eating now is still priced from last year's futures contracts, the contracts the farmers make to guarantee future prices so they can safely do business. He expects the next contracts to be much higher, translating to higher prices in the grocery store, and that combined with higher fuel prices for transport will mean that food will become very expensive. I can't fault his reasoning.
This is but one factor in the perfect storm that is brewing, but I don't think it will be "their" storm, even if they think they're in control of it, and despite the fact that they are working to cause it. They are babbling children compared to God, who knew what they whisper to each other in their secret rooms before they were ever born. Yeah, He's that big. They are dismissing Him because they seem to have gotten so far with their plans, but they will never complete them. God is not coming to deal with the evil they have loosed. He is here, and they are riding into trouble they cannot imagine.
How long we will linger at the precipice, I don't know, but I think we are going to get a good view of the canyon before things turn around. It's always good to be prepared with stored supplies, just because of the nature of the world. Disasters happen, with or without cabal instigation, and it just makes sense not to be one Dorito away from an empty cupboard.
No matter what happens, do not be afraid. Do what is wise, and leave the rest to God. If your heart longs to see good triumph over evil, He is watching you, leaning forward in anticipation to answer your trust, and if you learn to do that, you will ride on the storm and never be harmed by it. You will see the sunrise on the other side.
Thank you. There was much wisdom in what Wes said about this, and the Aguilera stuff too. And you are very correct in your viewpoint and I share it. Without my faith I would be completely lost.
