So I took a few hours of sun on the beach down in South Carolina this passed weekend, didn't use any sunscreen because the pharma companies want to kill us all. I definitely regret that decision. I got a pretty bad sunburn on most of my body - forehead, under forearms, chest and stomach, back, shoulders, and parts of my legs. I work security so I'm on my feet most of the time - shitty colleagues not giving me enough breaks doesn't help. It also causes me to walk with a limp because it's more of a hindrance to walking, rather than pain. It's 9:45pm and I don't have Epsom salt. Any help/advice to reduce the swelling overnight? I'm not expecting it to go away immediately, just as long as I can walk okay.

Compression stockings. If you stand up at your job all day or all night, everybody should be wearing compression stockings. They’re not just for old people. They’re great for your legs, and they’ll keep you from getting varicose veins, which affects year entire body.
I wouldn’t recommend getting super strong ones, they have different levels of compression. If you’re just gonna be wearing them at work, you might want to get compression socks. But check around and see what’s available, and try not to get ones that are gonna be so tight around your upper calf towards your knee.
They have some thing at Walmart that’s a little bit less than a compression stocking, but Still provide support. The compression stockings are difficult to get on and off, so they do have a tool that you can use for that. Usually when you purchase them it’ll come with a little tool, but if you’re gonna be wearing them all the time you can get a larger tool. Just do the research.
I had foot surgery seven weeks ago, and I happen to be wearing one right now. But I’m a woman and mine goes all the way up to my thigh. I prefer those myself. But I don’t think a man would be interested if you are a man.
Are you a biologist? How dare you claim to be able to identify yourself as a woman! 😂
Couldn't help myself
😂
But my mom‘s a biologist, and she lives with me, so I had to ask her one day, and she let me know.
