"Nothing is perfect, there was only one perfect man, I'm not perfect and neither are you, it's an imperfect world we live in, nobody is righteous"
Breaking free of common conditioning.
Matthew 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
Get use to thinking you can be perfect, Jesus says we are to be perfect.
Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Seeing the kingdom of God is seeking perfection. We can condition ourselves to seek and dwell in perfection. That seems to be uncommon conditioning.
Righteousness is part of the armor of God, that means we can appropriate Righteousness as part of our perfect strength. Being righteous is choosing right every time.
How is your mind conditioned?
What is more perfect?
A new hammer with not a scratch or blemish on it; free from rust and wear?
Or an aged hammer which has birthed forth many hammers under the blacksmith's arm; covered with nicks and pock marks from being worked before the heat of the forge and sweat of its master?
Which is the ideal hammer? Which is more perfect?
Both are perfect in the eyes of God, because both can perform when he hoists them over his head to bash into the world new and wondrous Creations.
Only that which cracks under the weight of the Creator's arm, refusing to complete the task for which it was designed, is what we might consider imperfect. In such cases, be prepared for the Creator to cast you into the forge and rework you until such a time that you may do as God has willed you to do.
Perfection lies not in your current state, but in your capacity to do Good Works. All in the Honor and Glory of God.
Being prepared to be perfect in each moment takes wisdom, wisdom comes from our relationship with our teacher, the Holy Spirit of God. Now we do miss the mark of perfection on occasion, but if we are listening to our teacher, we admit our missed mark, recieve instruction, take aim and fire again until we get it right.........practice makes perfect I think is the saying
