Lawmakers will demand answers on the arrest of several employees of late-night talk show host Stephen Colbert at the Capitol Thursday when Congress resumes next week, a leading Republican told Fox News.
Days after Democrats on the House January 6 Committee called on Rep. Barry Loudermilk's, R-Ga, to answer questions about a tour he gave the day before the Capitol riot, several people, including CBS employees who work Colbert's late-night program were arrested for unlawful entry to the complex.
Late Thursday, the individuals, including "Triumph, the Insult Comic Dog" puppeteer Robert Smigel – a frequent guest of Colbert's -- were not credentialed to be walking around without an escort, a House Republican source told Fox News. Others arrested included Colbert writer Josh Comers and associate producer Allison Martinez.
The group was cleared into the complex by staffers for Rep. Jake Auchincloss, D-Mass., and House January 6 Committee Member Adam Schiff, D-Calif.

So from what I gathered here is what happened: Colbert is shooting footage for some BS skit about J6 to make fun of conservatives and wants footage from inside the actual Capitol. So they contact Schiff's office and since his SJW staffers are such entitled brats and were probably gushing that Saint Colbert contacted them they essentially say "sureee come on in after hours we will let you film wherever!" So they let Colbert's film crew and writer roam around the halls of Congress after hours filming outside Republican offices, banging on doors and making a mockery. The Capitol police happen upon them and they have no official clearance other than "Adam Schiff's assistant said we could be here reeeeeeeee" so the police booked them and they spent the night in jail. https://www.disclose.tv/id/1537952957601263618/
Thank you for the context.
