I want my next president to run on a platform that pledges to ban all gain of function research in America, and forbids all travel, and product shipments from nations that allow gain of function research. And, I want him/her to follow through with that pledge. After the covid fiasco, an "abundance of caution" is warranted to protect America from these types of avoidable, man-made environmental catastrophes.
