In college I had a roommate majoring in elementary education. She never had homework, laughed and said it was the easiest curriculum-piece of cake. That says it all about teacher education and how they teach our young. If children don’t get the fundamentals in K-2 Nd grade, they are lost. You have to be able to read, write and comprehend.
