The Taiwan air zone is a joke. The Taiwanese declared a massive piece of sky to be their "zone" and some of it is actually over mainland China itself!

It's like me declaring a zone around my house which includes the road outside then complaining loudly about people driving past and "infringing" on my property.

Given that West Taiwan does the same thing with waterways/seas, I find it humorously fitting.
