As I remember Trump saying after firing the guy "He never found a war he didn't want to wage" or something to that effect.

If I had a comprehensive list (which would be too time consuming at the moment to make myself) of everyone (1) fired or run out by Trump and (2) excoriating publicly during or in the immediate aftermath of said firing by Trump, there would probably be some fairly significant revelations in that list. People have already made the connection that it is odd certain people get all guns blazing and others barely just a fart in the wind.
