Should be able to sell no problem, but if your broker doesn't actual own any shares, like robbinhood, you may have trouble. I transfered 2/3 of mine last fall.
Thanks. I looked into transferring mine to Computershare (from TD) but it seemed so complicated and expensive that I just gave up. I'm just not sure what to do at this point.
Their is DD on superstonk for each broker, some are very easy and some are much harder to transfer from. Most of them wave the fees,a lot of people found out its much faster to transfer to fidelity and then transfer to computershare. It's not recommended but you could just open a computershare acc. And buy some shares and then sell part of you shares at TD and transfer the money and buy new shares, and repeat, this would change your cost bases on the shares, you would lock in a profit or loss with your broker and might affect your taxes.....
Just don't be caught with no shares at all,we could MOASS at any time.
Thanks, I'll go check superstonk again, it's been a while since I've been there - since i looked into the Computershares stuff and then gave up because it was overwhelming. But, I don't want any regrets so I'll try again this week.
Do you think people that don't DRS won't be able to sell their shares when it squeezes?
Also, is there a reason you use squeegee instead of squeeze? I'm not familiar with that term.
