When the leak about Roe v. Wade possibly being overturned first happened, a few interesting stats were posted here (or elsewhere on the WIN network).
- Middle class women had abortions at a higher rate than those in poverty.
Which counters The Left's narrative of "this will disproportionately effect poor people".
- The majority of abortions were done for reasons other than "rape" or "the mother or child would likely die".
Which counters another one of The Left's narratives.
Does anyone happen to have the threads/articles about these?
heres a good study. go to page 113 and 114 (4th anad 5th page) there is a diagram of statistics. says 1 out of 1,160 women suveyed had an abortion because of rape or incest. most common reasons for having an abortion were: having a baby would change my life, i cant afford a baby right now, and i dont want to be a single mother. rape and incest is the least common reason women have abortions. https://www.guttmacher.org/sites/default/files/pdfs/pubs/psrh/full/3711005.pdf
That's the one I was looking for, or, one very similar to it. Thank you.
