Think of all the great things we could do to have fun and show our children it's ok to be happy in their family, loving God and living in the greatest country in the world.

It's not to virtue signal. It would be good for our souls to celebrate what we love with other patriots. It would also be so good to show our children and grandchildren they can love this country. We have grandchildren. Both of our children (the parents) have expressed an anxiety to my husband and I that they are afraid their children won't love the country.
