Makes sense, no way she genuinely thought she would be a celebrity for this or that people wouldnt immediately call it out. But now she has them going after Trump for "witness intimidation" and it will probably be found out that they knew the texts were fake and helped write them.

or the aides sent the texts to themselves to force this meeting to take place, since that was the reason cited by Cheney as why they moved the testimony up by several days

a trick to allow her to say something they havent fully approved of yet, but tempting them to run with it anyways
