It saddens me that this holiday has been reduced to "happy 4th of July".
Does that have any meaning other than a day off and barbeques?

I have a Happy Independence Day let freedom ring banner hanging between two windows over a garden bed of flowers on the front of my house , it looks beautiful ! My house is built on a park so many people walk by it ,, Someone actually left a written complaint in an envelope on the brick walkway leading up to my house, I'm shocked ! So many people hate our country !

Lol , I actually went and bought USA lawn decorations and just lined my front with then ,, your funny comment encouraged me ,, yes Fk them ! Although I think it was the constitution lawn flags that really pissed them off , plus I havd the pledge of alleigence in one of my windows under the American flag so I knie the commies go nuts walking by my house ,, ty got the encouragement now if I could send you my threatening letters ,, A year ago they stole my American flag and they put a big rock on my front steps with a note that said BLM only understand that really pissed me off I bought a bigger flag and raised it higher on my roof where they couldn't get it lots of liberals in San Diego

Yes .. I just added a bunch of USA lawn decorations ,, I have a garden flag with the constitution written on it I also have the Pledge of Allegiance in one of my windows underneath a big American flag NOT to mention my pride and joy garden flag that says ..The greatest danger to American freedom is a government that ignores the constitution we the people Thomas Jefferson.., so I know the commies get really pissed walking by my house
