Canada Day / Solar Update July 1, 2022 @ 11:20 UTC Welcome to July 1st, better known as Canada Day! Here is an updated look at the visible solar disk. Solar activity during the past 24 hours was very low with no major events to report. There are currently 4 numbered sunspot regions, along with a potential 5th in formation. Solar activity should continue at low levels with only a slim 5% chance for an isolated moderate M-Flare in the short term.

Updates via the SolarHam website will be put on pause for the next few days as I will be heading out of town for the holiday. Normal updates will resume on Sunday (July 3rd).
