It’s simple. Person A shows person B a TikTok video they enjoyed. Person B says “that’s not real”. Person A immediately insults person B. Even though person A and B are incredibly connected people who love each other, person A is willing to enter conflict with person B because person A has identified TikTok creators as their “tribe”.

Confined to TikTok? No. Happens on this forum, and over on Patriots all the time. Someone expresses an opinion, and gets personally attacked for it. It's called internet anonymity and loss of civility.
But it would seem that TikTok had accomplished it as a whole. I don’t really know anyone who will defend Facebook outright.
Look at “Vines”. Vines were incredible and likely the most captivating form of social media early on. Then suddenly vines disappeared. I think I recall they were purchased by a larger social media company.
I don’t know why but the format of TikTok seems to have a stronger effect on the mind. Just as tube porn did.
It’s as if people are being hypnotized into believing TikTok content in place of their own brain. Almost like “how dare you question any piece of TikTok content”
I’ve got bad news fren. TikTok employs the data it gathers and it curates content at an individual level in real time. It captures the emotion of the user as they consume content. In real time, this app can hypnotize a user. While Google likely knows substantially more, they do not have a vehicle engaging enough to capture the mind in real time.
Why did the Biden administration just request Google and Apple remove the app from their platforms?
