How many firearms are harmless? By definition, all of them are a threat to people. So that nonsense legalese 'is considered to be a threat' is horseshit. All people SHOULD pose a threat to those around them, should it be needed and necessary. If you arent, you can only be a victim. That's why firearms are needed, it is an equalizer for the physically weak. So those people dont have to be victims, dont have to be found dead after they have been raped and tortured and killed.
And by the way, a random phone-call or anonymous tip doesn't authorize ANY crime. You cant burn people alive based on a tip, nor rape them, torture them, kill them. If you told a judge you had this entitlement to commit crime, I surely hope that judge would hit you with the maximum possible penalty for the crime you did.
And if it doesn't fly for regular laws, its laughable that anyone claims the constitution can be ignored because of anonymous tips.
