Turnabout is fair play! I bet all the thieves who feel entitled to rob shops in CA would engage in a bit of constructive self-reflection if every shop owner robbed the thieves of all of their valuables, and burned/destroyed it while the thief was made to watch.

Good idea, just stick gps trackers in certain high value items instead of anti-shoplifting tags and find these thieves and where they live.
