gonna be sad that this is probably going to be presented to the masses and spin it as an example of anarchy=bad, when it's more the result of government & financial system failures. i hope not, but clown world media has to report on it some time
Anarchy is bad. That's why the founding fathers tried to create a government by the people, for the people. A government that we implicitly allowed to govern us benevolently, with protections in place to violently -- but righteously -- depose tyranny if it was ever needed.
Anyone who thinks that they want to live in anarchy don't understand that just like socialism, we have seen anarchy tried in many points in history and it always falls apart.
Innocent people die at a disproportionate rate during times of anarchy.
The problems come when government oversteps and destroys the people.. so yes, this is a result of that.
Unfortunately just being wealthy shouldn't make you a target; they should be looking at the government who put them in this position.
noted. but my point wasn't to vouch for anarchy, more just theorising how i can see them potentially spin this event to corral people into the intended action or thinking; if the rest of the world from the outside can see how "bad" it looks, it might reinforce more compliance from people even if we get a shittier deal
